Handmade in our Salt Lake City, UT factory, the Kaizen 112 is the next evolution of the highly awarded shape that has made powder skiing easier and more fun for thousands of skiers around the world. The 15m turn radius makes for a maneuverable ski that can pivot, slarve, and slash wherever you choose. Deep tip rocker and taper give exceptional float, and complement the turn radius, so even powder turns in tight trees can become your friend. The Kaizen 112 features a lowered tail rocker profile, which increases edge engagement on firm snow and gives an improved feeling of popping energetically out of the turn. Our full carbon fiber Kaizen construction creates a more stable and damper ski, so you can trust it in all conditions.

We’ve been working with artist Mark Grotjahn to create a limited-release ski with exact artwork from Grotjahn’s famous colored pencil designs, the 50 Kitchens (2013-18). Grotjahn has admired DPS’s distinct use of color and design, and approached us based on this unique intersection of skiing and contemporary art. Visually stunning and engineered for performance, this one-of-a-kind ski showcases the 50 Kitchens drawing #15 on our brand new, yet to be released ski, the Kaizen 112. All skis include a factory application of PHANTOM Glide base treatment.

About Mark Grotjahn:

Mark Grotjahn is a contemporary artist who is best known for abstract work and geometric designs. The 50 Kitchens collection features 50 different colored pencil drawings that each explore different combinations of colors, and together create a prismatic, three-dimensional display. Grotjahn splits time between California and Colorado, and enjoys getting out into the backcountry to ski whenever he can. To learn more about Mark and his work, visit this link.
